Sparrow does a great job of using the rules as a guide but doesn’t lose the rule of cool when it comes to giving their players the spotlight moment. It’s always a blast to play at there table.

Playing in this game has been an incredible experience from start to finish. BaronBattleBread brings a rare balance of flexibility and creativity that makes every session feel both structured and alive. He clearly has a strong vision for the story, but never lets that get in the way of player agency. Instead, he treats the rules as a foundation rather than a restriction, encouraging players to think outside the box and rewarding creative approaches to challenges. What really stood out was how he handled the flow of the game. He never punished players for bad rolls in a way that felt discouraging, but still maintained meaningful stakes, especially during high-tension moments. Success felt earned, and failure still pushed the story forward in interesting ways. There’s a constant sense that he’s rooting for the players while also keeping the world grounded and responsive. That balance is difficult to achieve, and he does it exceptionally well.
