Laine is a pure joy to game with! They are extremely invested in their players, weaving intricate storylines that involve everyone, and making time to discuss and touch base on people's feelings and comfort levels at all points in a game. Laine cares deeply about what each player enjoys and what sorts of stories players want to tell and will assist their players in getting the most out of a storyline or tailoring elements to capture the essence of what their players are looking for. They've done an amazing job navigating some high-stress subjects or conflicts and always takes care of their players. On top of being a masterful GM, they're just super friendly and fun, and it's truly a great joy to be in any of Laine's games. Their games are suffused with an abundance of laughter and warm community.

Nathan is a really fun and inclusive GM! His ability to roll with people's choices and ideas is superb. He knows when to step in to push things along or add tension, but also has a perfect sense for stepping back and giving the player's freedom to interact and create their own chaos. Nathan does a good job threading the needle between different player's needs -- he would be a great GM for total newbies who need more support and a kind environment to learn and explore, and is equally as talented at letting more experienced players go forth and do what they know works for them. On the topic of Monster Hearts, I really appreciate Nathan's openness to the themes and mechanics behind the game. He shows a real willingness to make sure everyone is comfortable and can find a representation within the game that doesn't force players into black and white depictions of teenage drama or attraction. If you've previously felt that Monster Hearts was too forceful to depict the kinds of characters and relationships you enjoy, Nathan is a great choice for a safe and flexible Monster Hearts campaign where everyone is welcome. And a final shout out for his amazing voice acting and delightful NPCs!
