omniphobe - David

Dave is the kind of DM who welcomes the chaos and says, “sure, roll for it.” No matter what wild or ridiculous idea the party throws his way, he rolls with it effortlessly and makes it feel like part of the story all along. I play in multiple campaigns with him, and he is very good at keeping the ball rolling. Even if (when) we derail he lays out new tracks almost effortlessly. Whether Daggerheart or D&D, he is patient with new players, or players who just keep forgetting the rules (me), and embraces the chaos anyone brings.

I play two games with Tone and he is very knowledgeable on the rules, which is nice because I struggle to remember a lot of the time. He is still very much game for the rule of cool, especially in duet games. Most Dm's I encounter play with the 'maybe I'm friend maybe I'm foe' mentality but with Tone he definitely tries to help you succeed (still with all the obstacles that can be thrown at you as possible) without trying to railroad.

I have been playing games with Tricky for a few months now and he is very patient with new D&D players (like me) and responsive to ideas while trying to keep to the rules of the campaign. I still mess up when it comes to rules, ask the same questions over and over, and take forever on turns but he is still very patient. He has an expert grasp on the rules and can be pretty lenient when there are cool ideas tossed around. His world building and maps are very awesome and interactive even when we go off the beaten path for shenanigans. Overall he's a great choice for players new and old!

Vlue is very knowledgeable and patient (even with us being 5-6 sessions in) with newer players like myself who have only played very loose home games. Very good at teaching my group how to use the roll20 site that most of us had never used before and has the "there is no dumb questions" vibe about him. Very good characters, and quick to come up with answers to our nonsense. He is very quick to play into the weird ideas and mischief while still trying to help you stay on track without it feeling like he's trying to railroad you. Very good choice of DM for any level of play.
