Hi, I'm Tone! I've been rolling dice as a DM and player for a few years, and decided to be proactive to DM online for some scratch! Now I've gotten a steady string of Play-by-Post Games, though I'm always trying to make time for Live. I think if you're paying: you should know you're getting a well-paced game with time for RP and action, the DM makes sure the party passes the vibe check, and it doesn't feel like DM vs. players. I'm keen for community- so the types of games I offer really depend on what players I pick up! Message me with schedule options-- I have a bunch of campaigns in many different level ranges that I am just burning to run. I'd love to start flexing my Foundry skills a little more, since I think of myself as a very dynamic live story-teller. I bought all these awesome animated maps that I haven't used live, yet!

GM Style

I like to set my players up with the scenario, and let them roleplay into what they want to do with fewer rails than most books give. I don't like how non-combat is treated by most GMs as 'punishing the quirks of a character' instead of letting those reins loosen up. I like non 5e games, and have learned a lot of RPG tools of the trade (suspense, mystery, more dynamic/creative combat) *not* from 5e, but 5e rules are the ones I know best, so I try to balance combat and other goals of exploration, role expansion, and creative play.
