Sicarii Skye is an exceptional Dungeons & Dragons Game Master whose passion and skill shine through every aspect of his campaigns. His worldbuilding is nothing short of phenomenal; the depth of detail in his settings, combined with his vivid descriptions and strong visual sense, makes it easy to feel completely immersed, as though you’re truly walking the streets, forests, and ruins of his worlds. Each setting is rich with culture, layered history, and thoughtfully constructed factions and religions, all of which feel alive and meaningful rather than decorative. What truly sets Sicarii apart is how he weaves engaging, creative stories within these worlds. His narratives are fun, unique, and consistently lead to memorable, challenging encounters that reward both clever thinking and roleplay. He excels at giving players a strong sense of agency - your choices matter, but he also knows exactly when to provide a gentle nudge to keep the story moving if the party gets stuck, never breaking immersion or undermining player autonomy. Sicarii is equally fantastic with both new and veteran players. He takes the time to help players develop rich, compelling backstories and then skillfully integrates them into the broader campaign narrative, making every character feel important and personally connected to the world. I’ve had the pleasure of playing in two of his main campaigns, and each one has been a deeply enjoyable and memorable experience. Although I’ve unfortunately moved out of state, I’m incredibly excited to continue playing with Sicarii through Start Playing. I would happily join any campaign he runs, now or in the future, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a talented, thoughtful, and immersive Dungeon Master.
