Ninjabear is an AMAZING GM and storyteller who keeps me on the edge of my seat! I'm in his "Chains of the Vampyr" solo PbP. The twists and turns are sexy, suspenseful, macabre, and FUN. He adds original world-building/characters that blend seamlessly with the CoS module, keeping the vibes while making it unpredictable for repeat players. I also love how he threw my character right into the action and excitement. Curse of Strahd can be a really slow burn at the start. Having played those parts a few times, I'm soooo glad to have a faster pace and get right to Strahd/other Big Bad drama without having to replay all the buildup. Ninjabear is really tailoring the experience for me. He's great about checking in and asking for feedback, then adapting the game accordingly. He also posts consistently and is very reliable. Strongly recommend!

An incredible DM! I played her "Mists of Barovia" PbP. She posts very consistently, has amazing prose and pitch perfect characterization, and comes up with lots of fun creative challenges while also injecting plenty of humor. Super fun and addictive. The game I'm in is very fast paced. Perfect if you want lots of activity! But also keep that in mind if you have limited scheduling. ;)

Dreams & Eni are WONDERFUL DMs! They're incredibly funny, patient, kind, and WONDERFUL storytellers! I had DM Enigmatic for Descent into Avernus. Eni gave my such detailed attention and compelling plot hooks. Same with each PC. :) And Eni wrote detailed amazing posts every day, often multiple! Eni was also very available and understanding re: questions, scheduling conflicts, etc. My queer neurodivergent butt felt so welcome. Truly one of the best games, DMs, and groups I've played with. Thank you, DM Eni!!!

Noralf is an absolutely wonderful GM! I'm in his PBP Curse of Strahd, and briefly sampled another game. He's a wonderful storyteller with excellent prose and a knack for characterization. He took the time to create some truly special scenes with my brand new character. Those scenes made the tragedy, horror, and harsh beauty of Barovia really come alive...in a manner of speaking. ;) He's also incredibly kind and patient with players. I tend to be pretty shy, but feel comfortable interacting with him. Thanks, Noralf! Highly recommend!

Susannah is a top-notch DM. Highly creative, great storyteller, does fun voices and characterization. Extremely receptive to feedback and works to make each player/character feel integrated into the story in a unique, tailored way. Highly recommend!
