Gogo epitomizes everything you'd want from collaborative storytelling. I joined the game a few months in and was able to get into it straight away. She's an excellent GM as far as knowing the mechanics and when to bend them, as well as being totally original and thoughtful in terms of scenes, plots and diverse NPCs. She's actually put together probably the most flesh-out and detailed casts of NPCs I've had the pleasure of playing with. Completely welcoming and approachable, especially for someone who's able to run very dark and frightening material so comfortably.
Don't be afraid of joining one of Diamond J's games in progress. He puts so much work into making the world complete and integrating anything you'd like to throw at him into the game that it wouldn't ever be an issue. Very fun, character-focused storytelling built around the PCs but without making you feel like you're the center of the world. I joined this game while it was in progress (8 sessions in) and after playing three sessions I can say I'm very happily surprised with how quickly and how well my character was integrated and how much fun it's been having them establish themselves. And not just my character, but their retainer and everyone they could come into contact with. The world is so complete and realized that whatever your character wants to do, a scene is ready to go that might connect with something bigger or might just be a moment for your character to experience. I also have to really compliment the variety of NPCs and the way he brings each to life not just to fill the setting but to add atmosphere and depth to scenes. He makes sure you feel that you're playing in a world with opportunities for things to go sideways or little details you could explore. Related to that, he also manages a great mix of player agency and using the mechanics as a limit on PCs doing whatever they want. With WoD especially what you really need is a ST who knows when to call for a roll and when to let the scene move naturally, and he accomplishes that very smoothly. He's also really responsive both in game and during the week, fielding questions or responding to feedback or building things out in preparation for game day. Because of all the work he puts into it and making the NPCs and story hooks fully detailed, anything your character would do can happen and have consequences. Great game master, great storyteller, would highly recommend for anyone committed to roleplaying
