My RPG Journey My adventure into the world of RPGs began in the mid-80s when I stumbled upon Dungeons & Dragons. From that moment on, it has been a thrilling rollercoaster ride that continues to this day. Experience and Background I have been a dedicated Game Designer, Gamemaster, and player for over 40 years. In the 90s, I had the privilege of working with both White Wolf and TSR, contributing to several iconic roleplaying games. My most notable work includes significant contributions to the first and second editions of *Vampire: The Masquerade*. I also led the development of the initial iterations of the *Vampire LARP: Mind's Eye Theatre*. Main Games World of Darkness (WoD) - System: Based on the V20 Rulesets (Vampire, Werewolf, Mage, Wraith). - Style: I provide players with a rich world of modern horror, incorporating the full spectrum of all WoD publications. For over 30 years, I have run campaigns in a persistent world where the heroics (or failures) of past groups influence the present, shaping a unique and evolving universe. - **Audience:** My WoD games are for mature audiences only. I prefer small groups, recruiting only 2–3 players per Chronicle. Forgotten Realms - Systems: D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e. - Background: During my tenure at TSR, I had the honor of working closely with Ed Greenwood, the creator of the Forgotten Realms. This setting has become my favorite, and 90% of my fantasy campaigns are set in this rich, detailed world. - Style: Similar to my WoD games, my fantasy campaigns feature persistent timelines. Everything in these campaigns is bespoke and original, tailored to create unforgettable adventures. Online Gaming While I have traditionally preferred in-person gaming, I have recently embraced the online format. I now offer more games online and have grown to appreciate the unique opportunities it presents. - World of Darkness: Played exclusively on Discord. - Forgotten Realms: Played on Discord/ FoundryVTT. You can call me the proverbial GM, as I am behind the screen 95% of the time. Crafting intricate worlds and adventures for players to explore is my passion. I thrive on creating immersive experiences that captivate and challenge my players. I incorporate many tools and techniques in my games, such as music and sound effects, online and offline NPC interaction, real-time 2D scene creation, and real-world metagaming (only in WoD). My goal is to provide my players with a highly immersive gaming experience, which is why I only allow 2–3 players for WoD and 3–4 players for fantasy-based RPGs.
