I am simply blown away after our first session. Our session zero was free and we talked about many important things. Our first real session was amazing. Foundry is something outside of this world. The maps, token and NPC were brought to life! Squizard is very good at doing voices and roleplaying. This is exactly what I expected from a paid DM. I'm looking forward to were our adventure will lead!
It was ok. It wasn't bad but it wasn't super awesome. We were tasked to kill a red yeti, yet we just explored a dungeon, and didn't find any Yeti's. I think a one shot should feel more "complete" not just change the story mid through. However, I did like playing on roll 20 and there wasn't any tech problems. This was my first time playing dnd online, and it was fine. I think it would have been nice to have a mini session zero, say the first 15-20 minutes just that we were on the same page. He was friendly, encouraging, and you can tell he knows the rules very well. I would like to add there was a huge power imbalance. There was one level 11, 7 and two level 4s doing a Cr 4 adventure. I did t even have a chance to raise my sword because the enemies were fireballed before I could do anything:(
