I had a really fun time playing Brindlewood Bay with Luke. It was my first time playing this particular game and he made it easy to pick up the rules and feel like my character was a part of the world. He's an excellent storyteller and brought in all kinds of interesting characters for us to interact with. Brindlewood Bay is more of a collaborative storytelling exercise and he struck a good balance of giving us some structure to work from but letting us explore and add to the story as we saw fit. It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon, and I definitely plan to play more Brindlewood Bay with Luke in the future!
It was my first time playing Monster of the Week and most everyone else had played together before, but Aaron made it really easy to join in. I felt like I knew what was going on and was able to contribute. Aaron is a skilled storyteller and really brought the world to life with descriptions, interesting NPCs with fun voices, and even music to set the scene. I'd definitely recommend his table and plan to play again!
I've played a few sessions with Evie now, and it's been a lot of fun. She does a good job balancing the needs of new and experienced players. She has put a lot of work into developing an original homebrew world and has found creative and fun ways to incorporate our characters' stories into it. I'm really excited to see how this story plays out and what else she has in store for us!
This was my first time playing Wanderhome (or any non-D&D TTRPG, actually), and Daisy was an integral part of making it such a great experience. They crafted a very inclusive and welcoming session even though some of the other players were already more experienced with Wanderhome. I'm often a bit reserved at first and they gave me space to explore and be more creative in a low pressure way. I definitely plan to play with Daisy again!
Bobby did a great job guiding a large group with a very wide range of experience levels. Everyone had fun and he was good at teaching along the way in a way that wasn't disruptive to the game. He knew the rules well and was able to adapt easily to the unexpected things we threw at him. I would definitely play with him again!
