Hi! I'm a Dungeon Master in my free time (during the day I'm an acting major at college in LA). I run several weekly D&D home games with different groups of players and I'm used to adapting to various genres and tones. In life, I genuinely don't think anything has as much power to bring people together as storytelling. I love meeting new people and learning what they want from their characters and their narratives. (And yes, I promise I'll read your backstory.)

Radiance by Catherynne M. Valente (trippy space psychological thriller/mystery) and Katabasis by R. F. Kuang (which is named after and heavily features my favorite mythological trope-- descent into the Underworld). The Lord of the Rings trilogy is a beloved classic. I read lots of myth & folklore.
My favorite shows/movies are
Hamnet - Sinners - Everything, Everywhere, All at Once. I also grew up on the Princess Bride and love it with my whole heart. In terms of TV shows, I'm a big fan of Andor and Arcane and I will always adore Buffy the Vampire Slayer, flaws and all.

How Evie runs games
I love roleplay and narrative storytelling, and I'm great at making space for players who are shy and newer to improv. I do my best to make an engaging tactical space as well, but expect the majority of combat to be theater of the mind. All of my campaigns are homebrew settings, where I'm willing to include setting-specific content as long as you work with me to tie it into the story. As for character voices, I am very capable when it comes to accents and dialects, and I LOVE to voice an odd little guy.
