Alessa is an excellent GM. She makes good use of safety tools to make sure everybody feels comfortable and has a very versatile voice for fun and engaging NPCs. She uses great music choices to set the scene, and reacts to unexpected player choices in a dynamic fashion. Alessa was very welcoming to me as a first time player of Star Trek Adventures, and took the time to make sure I understood the mechanics - both in game and before my first session. I'd definitely recommend Alessa to anybody considering playing with her.

Tristan is an amazing GM. He made sure we all understood the lines and veils we'd set up and felt comfortable to play an x-card should we need to. He did a great job of reacting to player decisions in a fun and engaging way, and always had an idea to elevate a scene. I would highly recommend playing with Tristan!

Syd is an excellent GM, who does a good job of creating a safe space and helping new players to learn a system. I played in a learn to play Brindlewood Bay one shot, where she devoted some time before play to helping us understand the mechanics and safety tools and to build characters. She frequently referenced our lines and veils sheet throughout play and was happy to answer any questions we had. She had some very entertaining NPCs and did a good job of making sure everybody had their time in the spotlight. Overall a very fun experience. She obviously has a passion for helping people learn new systems, and I'd highly recommend her to anybody who's considering playing in one of her games.

Sam is an excellent GM. He's great at encouraging players to lean into their characters, and does an excellent job guiding new players through the mechanics of a game and how they may manifest in gameplay - both at session 0 and during gameplay sessions. He understands these mechanics well enough to improvise in an enjoyable way when players throw unexpected or inconvenient reactions at him. Sam is great at incorporating player choices into the wider narrative, and helps this along by creating real feeling NPCs which tie into a character's history, even when they may only appear for one scene. He knows how to use evocative language to set an interesting scene or lend a sense of urgency to a session. I'd highly recommend Sam as a GM to anybody looking to play a game where they have a chance to explore interesting social dynamics, investigate a subtle mystery or have a combat which actually feels interesting and dangerous. Regardless of your level of experience with RPGs, Sam can make your experience an enjoyable one!
