Spoon is a pro! He's got to be the hardest working guy on StartPlaying, and it pays off. His games are slick and well-prepped, but he still provides individual attention during game and over downtimes between games. He's smart, knows the rules, and cares about the setting. I've had a rewarding time in his campaign.
Levi is enthusiastic and invested; he puts a lot of time in to thinking about his setting. He's also a pretty chill, easy to get on with guy. He's a little green, but I think he's going to be an extremely good GM and at his current price point he's a bargain. Caveats: 1. He is, as of me writing this, a little new to this, and he's still getting the hang of creating and deploying GM materials like art, character bios, maps etc. But I mentioned to him that we needed more of that stuff and he was very cool and responsive about the feedback. 2. His WoD is different. It's very muscular and freewheeling- think Bloodlines if it was in the Saint's Row universe. Not for everyone, but if you are into it you'll probably be super into it.
Biggety is a writer — and a very good one. His games unfold like great novels: rich, layered, and full of character-driven storytelling. Plots build slowly and purposefully, grounded in psychological realism and immersive worldbuilding. Whether it’s World of Darkness or another system, his settings feel lived-in and true to the source material — yet still manage to surprise you. But don’t mistake “thoughtful” for slow or dry — his games are fun. They’re alive with tension, dark humor, unexpected turns, and moments that’ll stick with you long after the session ends. If you’re looking for a game that gives you room to think, feel, and really explore your character — with a GM who gets people on a deep level — you won’t find many better. It’s also worth saying: Biggety creates inclusive tables without making a show of it. He’s sincerely welcoming — to everyone — and his empathy is part of what makes his NPCs and stories so compelling. You’ll feel seen, and you’ll find yourself seeing others more clearly, too.
