Had so much fun when we created our second character due to campaign issues for the 1st, think I had a better idea to roleplay a character second time around and the crew dynamic was awesome. I'll always have a soft spot for the character I created in the setting, just something I was happy to be apart of for sure. His passion came through with the setting, campaign and npc's, the leader we had in the game was very cool and enjoyed his way of roleplaying. Helps you learn the different VTT since I was used to Dndbeyond and Roll20 and the vibe between players and DM were very fun. Wish I had the chance to continue through with the campaign but highly recommend people to join his games!

Joined his Avernus campaign when I was still very new to roleplaying and very glad I had the opportunity to be apart of this campaign. Remember then how I wasn't sure how really to go about playing my character but Surok is very lenient with how we get to play the game and allows rule of cool. Like how our teammate got to have a dragon for a pet/friend. Allows the players to have fun with the game to the best of our ability is my best way to describe it. Cool DM, fun group and overall a great time being apart of this campaign so will very much recommend anyone to join in his games!

Had a fun time playing in his one shot, gives time/chances to do any prep time for your character which was very nice for players. Always appreciate that consideration and allowed some funny interactions to happen like how I got to escape the Tarrasque's mouth with a check when it tried to attack a teammate. Definitely would join again for chances to play more or classes I haven't tried out yet.

Been playing in his higher level one shots off and on. Very chill, cool and allows players to play what they enjoy or stuff to try. I got to try a homebrewed subclass before I use it in a campaign and felt very cool to play. Always have a good time when I join and this last session was just laughs all around so definitely will recommend anyone to join his oneshots or campaigns :D

Definitely would recommend this DM for games, had a wonderful experience playing. He did an amazing job at setting the vibe for the game, hyping up the players, playing as funny npc characters and keeping us engaged. Played in his lv 20 one shot where I played new class as a divine soul sorcerer where it felt great to use abilities to assist teammates. The team was an awesome group to play with, all of us helping each other best we can and fun interactions amongst us. I was glad we were a team for this one shot. With a combination of item availably, had fun using spell scrolls to cast foresight on barbarian. Combat is my favorite thing about dnd so far being still fairly new playing and it was some of the best times playing. The arena combat system was very nice way to face enemies, allowed me to do some prep actions to buff whole team. Favorite moments is seeing how my actions helped teammates like using heroes' feast, 7th aid for more max hp, spell scroll used on barbarian for foresight. As an flex of strength after the fight ended I wanted to display healing capabilities, I healed 121 as bonus action with class feature then used 9th level spell mass heal for another 700 hp healing for team. Which I didn't need to do since the barbarian crit 3 out of 5 attacks for 307 damage in one turn to kill Tiamat. Truly a great time playing and will for sure join another game of his to explore more of D&D. 10/10 Thanks for the fun game!
