I'm lucky enough to be apart of one of AJ's campaigns. He's an amazing storyteller who puts creativity first and foremost with himself and his players. I don't feel I have to worry about if what I'm asking is too complicated, I feel comfortable enough to ask and I don't worry it'll be immediately turned down and if it is, it's for good reason. If it does happen it's with a fair price to pay. He works to make your creativity pay off and come out feeling fulfilled. Not only this, but he's got a great range of voices and has a real passion for the characters he brings into the worlds he builds. Leading to investment from me and my PC as well as the others in our campaign. He pushes for us to get into character in a very natural way and asks us often what our characters are doing, how our attacks look, what our characters reactions are, and the classic "how do you want to do this?" when landing the final blow. If you see AJ has a campaign available, I highly suggest you jump in! He's a passionate DM who will care deeply for the world he builds as well as the character you bring into it.

Jess was a great DM for a beginners session. She walked everyone through how to use a lot of the tools for our one shot session. I think I needed something a little more intermediate, but if youre a beginner who is searching for a teacher to get into DND, I highly recommend Jess!

[UPDATE] Im in 5 hopefully 6 of his campaigns if a slot opens up haha. If you find yourself having the opportunity to be a player in one of Blake's campaigns, please take that opportunity. Ive found my forever DM! I am currently in two campaigns with Blake as my DM. Started with 1, but had to sign up for more. Blake has been hands down, the best DM I have ever had. He brings life to the world in a plethora of ways that keep me itching for every next session. Not only this, but with character creation, hes been such a great help. I tend to overdo it when it comes to details on my character and hes been such an amazing dm to work with and is attentive to every question, request, or just general fun details I add to my characters. Something I also commend Blake for is his ability to keep the story going. No awkward pauses, no stutters, he rolls with whatever is thrown at him. Hes rule of cool and it shows with the shenanigans our party has already gotten up tto. If you have the chance to join a campaign with Blake as your DM, I cant recommend him enough!!!
