After providing character-building and backstory assistance to those that needed it each of our characters found themselves pulled into the world that had been made with unique story hooks that actually pulled from the backstories we provided. We were encouraged to be creative, to role-play to our comfort level, and to work with all the players in our party; which made everyone always feel valuable. The most comfortable, engaging, and epically evolving story games I have played in. The games really are what you make them, and this GM is dynamic enough to make that possible.
