I’ve played over 20 games with Alex, and I can’t believe I haven’t written her a review yet. She certainly deserves a glowing one. Alex is wonderful—she’s crafted a new version of Barovia that’s every bit as dreadful. But, in wonderfully new and terrible ways. Her Strahd is multidimensional, and you may even find yourself sympathizing with them… though, only at your own risk. Her NPCs are well-fleshed-out, often making you second-guess even your best intentions. Despite her modesty, Alex’s character voices are distinct and well-performed. It’s clear this campaign is a true labor of love.

I’ve now played 17 games with Thomaz. He is beyond fantastic. I was worried about playing remotely, but he has done a fantastic job of making the game still feel very intimate. We are playing “Curse of Strahd: A Tale of Fog and Dread“. I have loved the experience and look forward to every session. I have been playing DND on and off for decades, so it’s hard not to know at least some details about the campaign. But, his creativity makes everything feel fresh. He makes excellent use of the “Rule of Cool” and rewards creativity. He does an excellent job integrating new PCs. So don’t worry about joining this late in the game. He will work with you to make it work.

Really was excellent. I had not played in years and a second player was brand new. He was very patient and did an excellent job explaining the rules and giving examples. I can not imagine you would be disappointed with him being your DM.
