Break Room was SO fun. The way Athena facilitated made it extremely easy and fun to jump right into the game. It was a very comfortable and fun environment to try something new and I really appreciate Athena and my fellow players for such a fun and funny game.

Ran was fantastic, she set an incredible tone for our game with her narration and music choice. I was new to the system we played, and she was extremely helpful to helping me understand my role in the game. Couldn't be happier, had a great experience. Thank you Ran!

My beginnings in D&D as a player came in one of Todd's games. Todd gave us an incredibly thoughtful and thorough Session 0, which helped break the ice between our characters and helped us understand what to expect in the game. I was playing a character with memory gaps, I'd asked Todd if he was willing to integrate some mysteries and surprises into my character's backstory, and - sparing you all the details - Todd went so far beyond anything I expected when I made that request, adding details that helped integrate my character into the setting, and create tension that deepened the themes I was hoping to explore. Todd puts a lot of thought into the player characters, their arcs, and how the world can present interesting challenges or events. He's incredibly welcoming messages with character insights or questions. He finds opportunities for quiet players to participate, he handles above-the-table tensions or concerns well, and he's both interested and invested in the players and their characters. His playlists are rad as hell, he's got a solid collection of NPC voices, and he presents a wide variety of scenarios for players. Todd's a fantastic DM and I'm fortunate to have played in a few of his games. I think story-focused players especially will LOVE working with Todd and the worlds he builds for them.
