Cora’s an amazing GM. She builds worlds that feel alive and stories that pull you in from the start. Every session has that perfect mix of fun, tension, and heart. You can tell she really loves what she does, and it shows in every moment. Playing in one of her games isn’t just fun, it’s memorable.

An amazing DM who really knows how to bring the world to life! Great balance of roleplay, combat, and story, with plenty of opportunities for character growth and creative problem-solving. Super organized, fair, and always keeps the game fun and engaging. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great D&D experience!

Joel has been an absolute blast to have as a DM. I typically wait until the end of the campaign before I leave reviews so I can give a complete breakdown of everything that's happened, however, I think I can say with absolute certainty that he's a great guy. He is very easy to approach and talk to about really anything. He's very open to any ideas you might have and can give very clear explanations as to why it won't work. And while he might not hold back or pull any punches in combat, it never felt unfair. Every victory felt hard fought and earned. He's not perfect and might not get every rule right or remember everything right away, but considering that he has to run literally everything else, I think that's more than understandable. I've had an absolute blast in his campaign and can't wait to see what he has in store. And I'll be sure to join any other campaigns he might run if I am able.

Sara was the first GM I ever tried on this website and I can say with absolute certainty that if it weren't for her I would have given up on this platform. She is patient, knows the rules, encourages player roleplay and creativity, and knows how to tell an engaging story. Try Sara if you are uncertain about this website and don't know who to choose. I did and I don't regret it. I played an entire campaign with her, then joined two more she hosted and I have had nothing but good times since.

I honestly could write for ages about the amount of fun I had at Ben's table and still, I feel it would not be enough to do him justice. Instead, I shall say this, Ben is an amazing GM who knows how to provide an entertaining and enjoyable experience. He easily handled my shenanigans and was more than willing to let us shoot for the moon with my absurd requests and nonsensical skill checks. He's a very grounded individual who listens to his players' ideas and suggestions. If you are skeptical like I was about trying out StartPlaying, I encourage you to take a chance on Ben. He was one of the first GMs I tried, and I am not disappointed. I played an entire campaign with him and eagerly look forward to the next one!
