I’ve been playing with Sophie for two years now. She is really a fantastic DM, with an incredible knowledge concerning the world of Barovia. She has spent hours writing and fleshing out both characters and lore that makes the world plenty immersive. Where she excels is one on one improve, building emotion to tension to a scene to either make you scream, laugh or bring people to tears. Weaknesses however include time management, lack of focus, keeping facts straight from table to table, and priority management - especially with overwhelming large combat scenarios. Constantly having to go back and forth and double check broken data, miss information or forgotten key points makes the game chaotic and breaks immersion. Adding more stress to the players with broken bugged out tools and character sheets in Foundry has left me with a lot of doubt. Because of which I have to downgrade my rating from a 5 to 3 stars. Really looking for improvement moving forwards.
