About Bauric

I’ve been playing tabletop RPGs for decades, starting with Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition, and I still love the same thing that drew me in from the beginning: the chance to step into a great story with other people and create something unforgettable together. Over the years, I’ve played through multiple editions, different styles of campaigns, and all the chaos and magic that come with long-term gaming. I eventually stepped into the GM role so someone else could finally have a chance to be a player, but once I got behind the screen, I realized I had found something I genuinely loved. Running great games is not just something I do, it is something I care deeply about. As a Game Master, I focus on creating sessions that feel immersive, well-paced, and personal to the people at the table. I want players to feel like their choices matter, their characters belong in the world, and every session moves the story forward in a meaningful way. I believe the best campaigns balance structure with freedom, strong storytelling with player agency, and preparation with room for those unexpected moments that make tabletop gaming special. When you join one of my games, you can expect a table that is welcoming, intentional, and built for memorable play. I take preparation seriously, I respect my players’ time, and I work to make every session feel like it was worth showing up for. Whether you’re here for rich roleplay, hard choices, tense combat, character growth, or simply the thrill of being part of a living story, my goal is to give you a game that feels engaging from the first scene to the last. If you’re looking for a GM who cares about the experience, knows how to keep the story moving, and wants every player to feel like they matter, I’d be glad to welcome you to my table.

I became a GM because

I love creating immersive fantasy worlds for players.

The three words my players would use to describe me are...

creative, inclusive, a little mad.

When I'm not running games I'm...

I'm playing them myself at friends tables, or tinkering with some type of technology.

How Bauric runs games

I run story-rich, character-driven games where your choices have real weight and the world responds in meaningful ways. Roleplay matters, consequences matter, and every session is built to feel like it matters. My games balance immersion, momentum, and player agency. I want you to feel connected to your character, invested in the party, and excited to see what your decisions set in motion. Combat is purposeful, not filler. Roleplay is encouraged, not sidelined. The goal is always a game that feels engaging, memorable, and alive. I run both published campaigns and original adventures, but I rarely leave a story untouched. I like tightening pacing, deepening narrative threads, and making the experience feel more personal to the players at the table. Whether I’m adapting a classic adventure or building something from scratch, I focus on creating a world that feels responsive and worth caring about. My GM style is flexible, fair, and focused on flow. I respect the rules, but I value momentum and the Rule of Cool when it makes the game better. I use voices, atmosphere, and strong scene framing to bring the world to life, while keeping the spotlight on the players and the story we’re building together. If you’re looking for a table with meaningful choices, strong storytelling, and a GM who genuinely cares about giving players a great experience, you’ll probably feel right at home here. Join the table, bring your character to life, and let’s build a story worth remembering.

Bauric's ideal table

My table is collaborative, immersive, and built on mutual respect. I’m looking for players who want to be part of the story, not just present for it. You do not need to be a voice actor or a rules expert, but you do need to care about your character, the world, and the experience the group is creating together. The players who thrive most at my table are engaged, proactive, and willing to lean in. If you enjoy making meaningful decisions, following the story where it leads, contributing to the group, and stepping into roleplay when the moment calls for it, you will fit in well here. I especially value players who are generous with the spotlight and invested in helping create memorable moments for everyone at the table. The tone of my games usually lives in a balanced space. There is absolutely room for humor, table chemistry, and those lighter moments that make a group feel alive, but not at the expense of tension, consequence, or emotional payoff. When a scene needs weight, we let it have weight. When the party earns a moment to laugh, celebrate, or breathe, we enjoy that too. That balance is part of what makes a campaign feel real. I run games where choices matter. The world responds. NPCs remember. Actions have consequences, both good and bad. Combat is intentional and story-driven, with enough tactical depth to feel satisfying without dragging down momentum. Outside of combat, I encourage strong character interaction, creative problem-solving, and players who want to engage with the world rather than wait for it to happen around them. Just as important is table culture. I want my games to feel welcoming, communicative, and respectful. Everyone should have room to shine, and part of being a great player is helping make space for others to shine too. I work hard to keep things moving, make clear rulings, and adapt to what the group enjoys, while still maintaining a strong sense of pacing and direction. Overall, my ideal table is made up of players who want to invest, engage, and help build something memorable together. If you want a game where your decisions matter, your character can grow, and the story genuinely responds to what you do, you will probably feel right at home here.

I love it when a player

gets creative in solving a problem or flipping the intended story on it's head by thinking outside of the box.

I think it's a red flag when players...

use the 'my character would do this' trope to justify bad manners at the table.
