About me

I’ve been playing Dungeons & Dragons for about four years, across multiple long-running campaigns with four different Dungeon Masters. Along the way, I’ve also played in several one-shots, both through Adventurers League and ones I sought out independently. I tend to gravitate toward very character-driven play. Most of the characters I create are women shaped by loss, memory, duty, or change, and I’m drawn to stories that let those things matter over time. Whether I’m playing a bard searching for a lost song, a fighter reckoning with who she’s become, a druid bound to memory and water, or a gunslinger whose purpose has started to tip into obsession, I care a lot about internal conflict and character voice. I really enjoy working closely with my DM on narrative consequences and long-term character arcs, especially in campaigns that allow characters to evolve in uncomfortable or unexpected ways. For me, D&D is at its best when the mechanics support the story and the choices feel meaningful, even when they’re hard.

DM Amy (AJ)

Played 29 sessions

I have been playing with Amy in different campaigns for a few years. I've played with her in real life and through online Baldman Games sessions. She won an award (I think DM of the year) for Baldman last year. She is a jack of all trades. A lot of GMs I've played with have been good at combat and bad at roleplay, or bad at combat but better at roleplay. Amy is really good at balancing a session where we at least some options for each of exploration, social, and combat. One of my favorite sessions of hers, we had combat aboard two ships that were sailing next to one another. Amy ran about 50 combatants flawlessly. In several sessions she has nearly brought me to tears. She's good at handling a table full of people with different agendas and isn't afraid to have fun with her players. She rolls with the punches when we decide last minute to go explore a place she wasn't expecting or ask annoying questions to a random NPC. She is good at keeping balance while also letting us go a little crazy. I cannot recommend her enough!
