Brandon is a wonderful DM for first-time players. He explained everything clearly and answered every question with cheerful patience, genuinely happy to be teaching. He was just as great with us old hands, graciously letting us help explain some of the technical details without ever feeling the need to reclaim the spotlight. Speaking of which, he made sure each of us had a moment to shine beneath it. His one-shot was beautifully run, and I hope he begins hosting full campaigns soon. Thank you, Brandon.
Jon is a wonderful DM, excellent storyteller, and a lovely man besides. He's fun to play with, easy to talk to, and keen on making sure everyone is involved and having fun. He encourages shenanigans and creativity, works with you to make silly and serious ideas work in tandem, and goes out of his way to accommodate everyone seated at his table.
Cassien is an exceptionally good dungeon master. He made our unit of newly-mets feel like a group of allies instantly. He included our character backstories in a meaningful, thoughtful way more than once and encouraged roleplay, creative solutions, and general player silliness with the same level of excellence he brought to making combat impactful. Play with ghis man, you'll be glad you did.
Doty is a warm, welcoming, wonderful DM. The world he's created is both interesting and full of story hooks. He genuinely cares about backstories and will happily integrate them into the game. I wish he used more visual aids. I like to have maps and things to see, but with an original world, I understand that would be difficult. So, if you're like me, that could be seen as a reason to reconsider. You'd be missing out, but we all have our preferred way to play, I suppose.
Ash is a creative, energetic DM with a gift for adapting to player chaos in his richly detailed homebrew world. He runs a relaxed, open table where everyone feels welcome to lean in, take risks, and have fun. His combat encounters are fast-paced, dynamic, and genuinely exciting—he roots for his players and makes them feel like heroes. There's plenty of space for roleplay, which he not only welcomes but actively encourages. On top of all that, Ash knows the rules inside and out and never hesitates to support newer players as they learn the game.
