About me

For me, the heart of any game is the story. Combat is thrilling—those wins, losses, and nail-biting close calls—but they’re just the sparks that ignite the tale. The best campaigns aren’t just about rolling dice; they’re about weaving moments into something epic, something you’d want to watch unfold week after week. I play to create stories that linger, where every choice matters and every character’s journey feels legendary.

Runes and Revelations

I recently played two one‑shots run by this DM as part of his SPG onboarding, and I came away genuinely impressed. The first adventure was an original one‑shot he designed himself. He explained the premise clearly, handled a few technical issues quickly and confidently, and kept the session moving without any awkward pauses. The one‑shot itself was well structured and especially well suited for teaching new players—exactly what he intended. It was intuitive, engaging, and easy to follow without ever feeling simplistic. We had extra time so we played a second game which was an adapted one‑shot using a setting he wasn’t very familiar with, but he still presented it solidly. He adjusted on the fly, improvised effectively, and kept the table engaged. For someone working outside his comfort zone, he showed excellent flexibility and game sense. Overall, he has tremendous potential as a DM. He’s organized, responsive, creative, and great with player-facing explanations. With more experience under his belt, I have no doubt he’ll become a standout GM on SPG. Highly recommended. I’d absolutely play at his table again.

Our DM delivered a really memorable Belmonts‑in‑Barovia adventure—what was pitched as a “one‑shot” ended up becoming a four‑session mini‑campaign, which was honestly a pleasant surprise. The only area that could have been improved was communication on the expected session length, as most of us came in thinking it would be wrapped in a single night. A quick heads-up early on would’ve helped us plan around that. That said, everything else? Fantastic The DM clearly cared about making sure everyone at the table had a great time. He embraced the Rule of Cool in a way that felt natural and fun, giving room for stylish Belmont shenanigans, cinematic plays, and character‑driven moments without letting anything break the flow. That balance is hard to nail, and he did it well. The Belmonts in Barovia concept was original, flavorful, and instantly engaging. It blended the gothic mood of Barovia with that monster‑hunting, Belmont energy in a way that really made the setting feel fresh. The encounters, story beats, and atmosphere all supported that theme well. Despite the length surprise, this was a genuinely fun, stylish, and well‑run adventure. The DM’s enthusiasm, flexibility, and commitment to player enjoyment made the experience shine. I’d happily play at his table again. Would recommend!

His one-shot was well planned and intriguing. The setting was underwater which was unique and fun. Game play was smooth and Owlbear Rodeo provided a simple and easy to use interface. I’d recommend playing a game to others who are looking for a one-shot.

A custom world with a story all of its own and shows that GM is great at world building, providing a fully immersive experience. Great concept and execution. Having played several sessions, I have to say he is hands down one of the best GMs out there. He is great for beginners and seasoned players too and strikes a good balance between role-playing, combat, and exploration. Really works with players to help make the game an awesome experience. Plus the games are always fun and the best part of my week! I highly recommend!

Spooky created a cool one-shot and allowed for player creativity. The story was well thought out and facilitated an environment that was inclusive for the whole group. I encourage players to try out his one-shot. He may be a newer DM but it doesnt stop him from running a fun game.
