I have known Billy for about 4 years. We met online via Roll20. He was my first GM for D&D. I had a great time playing in the 3-year Homebrew Campaign he ran and l learned a lot from him. Billy is great at seeding multiple story threads, and improvising when situations change, all while weaving character backstories into his worlds. Because I wasn't quite prepared to play my original Character concept, he helped me make another character who was both easy and fun for me to play as a beginner. And when I was ready, he gave me the opportunity to introduce and play that original character in his world via a team-fight tournament against the brother of an ex-hostile NPC that the PCs adopted. That NPC was my 2nd character's close friend, and so he joined the party for the fight while my 1st character who was still unsure about the NPC and his brother, performed first aid on the eliminated people.

I had a great time; the game ended up having 7 players and everyone had a chance to shine!

I haven been playing with James for going on 2 years and have been in a number of his games, ranging from Call of Cthulhu to Vampire the Masquerade to Traveller, even Deadlands. James is a hardworking & knowledgeable GM, He takes the games he runs seriously, and prefers when players are willing to become somewhat invested in the story or solving the mystery. He was actually the first Person who GM'd for me in all of the games above, and I have learned a lot and had loads of fun while playing with him.
