I was lucky enough to play in several games that Tone hosted. Unfortunately my time with them was cut short due to a new job, but I can absolutely say it was a pleasure being a player in their games. If there was a slow moment when things were dragging, he pushed things along. I one felt like things were a little unbalanced with magic items given to the group, he listened and came up with a solution. The combat was incredibly fun and challenging at times, which was exactly what I wanted for those games. If you're considering trying one of their games, I encourage you to go for it! You won't regret it.

I joined his games as a completely brand new player to the system. He was patient and very helpful in getting my character set up. Eventually I realized my character wasn't exactly what I had in mind and he let me make the changes while guiding me through the process. His world is full of life and I'm eager to continue to explore it! I can't recommend Cid enough!! Give him a try. :)

Wilfinja is a tremendous GM! What initially drew me to their game is the idea that combat will be fairly challenging. I've gotten tired of fights you can ease through with minimal effort. That is not Wilfinja. You will absolutely be challenged and forced to work as a team so you all make it out alive! His game wasn't solely about mechanics though. He had an immersive atmosphere with interesting plot points laid out. I was thoroughly engaged during my time with him and I highly recommend giving him a try!

Let me start off by saying that playing with GM Bear has been a treat! He's very quick with responses and keeps the game moving at an engaging pace. Also, with his use of the MCDM initiative system, there were times the play by post game felt like a live text game, which was amazing! Another thing I really appreciated with GM Bear is that he's flexible. The game I joined seemed to be more intended to use roll20. However, I lack experience with roll20 so he was kind enough to let me use avrae instead. I could go on and on with specifics here, but let me just say if you're looking for an engaging, fast paced game, I can't recommend GM Bear enough! Give him a try!

I've found there are generally two types of DMs on here for Dnd games. One lets you jump into the game with little to no backstory and you're off to the races very quickly. Nothing at all wrong with that, but Grant is different. He takes the time to tie you into the world and each member of the party through probably the best session 0 I've ever seen for a play by post game. His games are immersive like few others. I can't recommend him enough! Truly, he's one of the best GMs I've played with.
