SG is a fantastic GM! I joined the Golden Vault campaign half-way through and off the bat, SG made me feel welcomed. SG seamlessly introduced me right in the thick of things and made my PC's introduction feel natural. In addition, SG came with a plethora of great voices for NPCs, demonstrated great management of several PCs (both together and split up), and knew how to maintain a great pace for each session and the overall campaign. Those are just some examples of how efficient and effective SG is as a professional GM. SG also entertained a bunch of shenanigans while also maintain a safe and inclusive environment. New and veteran players will have a great time while at SG's table.
I joined Taylor's one-shot "Crowger's Quests" and had a great time! Taylor is an easy-going GM that created a very comfortable environment to play in. Almost like playing with a friend! Throughout the session, Taylor maintained a calm/comfortable vibe, made decisions confidently, and allowed room for lots of creativity. If you have an opportunity to play in one of Taylor's games, I highly suggest you take it!
I played in Em's Golden Vault one-shot and had a great time! The one-shot consisted of seven people, which would be an intimidating session to manage for most. However, Em masterfully guided all seven of us through a funny and suspenseful session. Em ensured all seven players had time to shine and allowed for some shenanigans. Most notably, Em created a warm environment and treated all players like her friend. If you have an opportunity to play in Em's games, I highly suggest you do!
February 2023 Review: Scotty is a great GM! I played in the "Slay the Hydra" one-shot and had a fantastic time. I could tell how much he strived to make this a great session. He was very engaging and personable when I asked him questions about character creation. And I could tell how much thought he put into the session when he shared his homebrewed background information. During the one-shot, Scotty allowed for creativity and matched it with seamless flexibility in roleplaying and combat scenes; he also allowed some shenanigans! Overall, I had an excellent time at Scotty's virtual table. If you're looking for a game, I highly suggest booking with him! September 2025 Review: I’ve had the privilege of playing with Scotty in the Staldorn campaign for nearly three years. This campaign holds a special place in my heart, as it was the very first one I ever joined. I’ll always be grateful that Scotty invited me to it after my time in his Slay the Hydra campaign, as it gave me the chance to officially retire the very first character I ever created in D&D. Now, as this campaign comes to a close, I can’t help but feel that familiar pull: the gut feeling that makes me want to dive right into another of Scotty’s adventures. What I wrote back in February 2023 about his DMing is still consistent to this day, but with an extra layer of appreciation. Over the course of the campaign, Scotty has shown incredible growth in both his GM style and the tools he brings to the table. What stands out most is the sheer creativity he weaves into his games: the multitude of worlds that live in his imagination and the homebrew elements he folds in so seamlessly. It never feels forced; it just enriches the story and keeps the table excited for what’s next. If you ever have the pleasure of joining Scotty’s table, you’re in for a memorable experience. His games strike a balance of storytelling, creativity, and fun that makes players feel invested and eager to come back for more.
