Mike is an absolutely outstanding DM. I play Kaw, a feral halfling rogue who grew up in the woods and sees the world through smells, textures, and animal behavior. Kaw is a strange, heartfelt, and unintentionally hilarious character, and Mike has done an amazing job creating an environment where I can bring his personality fully to life. Through Mike’s storytelling, worldbuilding, and ability to adapt to each player’s style, Kaw’s quirks feel real in the world. Every session is engaging, immersive, and full of moments that make me look forward to the next one. I've played in a lot of games over the years, dating back to 1981 when I first started playing from the basic red box of D&D, and can count on three fingers people I'd call an amazing DM. Mike is one of those. I highly recommend Mike to anyone looking for a skilled, creative, and player-focused DM. -Sky Mike’s like…the big alpha of the story-pack. Knows all the paths, all the smells. Makes the bad things scary, but safe-scary, like hiding under furs while storm roars. Lets everyone bite the story and chew their bit. I'm currently playing through Curse of Strahd, and this DM has been absolutely fantastic. He keeps the sessions entertaining, striking a perfect balance between atmosphere, action, and roleplay. One of the things I appreciate most is how well he manages the table—everyone gets a fair share of the spotlight, and he makes sure all players feel involved and engaged. Outside of sessions, he's always available to talk about character development and story ideas, which really adds to the experience and makes the campaign feel even more personal. If you're looking for a DM who’s thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely passionate about running great games, this is your guy. Highly recommend!

Just wrapped up my first session with Random, and it was an incredible experience! The storytelling was immersive and creative, and they did a fantastic job encouraging everyone to dive into their characters and really roleplay. The group dynamic was also top-notch—every player contributed to the fun, making it an all-around enjoyable session. If you're looking for a DM who brings energy, creativity, and a welcoming atmosphere to the table, I highly recommend Random!
