Jonny is a talented DM and if you want an amazing experience playing DnD you should join one of his games. He gives you an immersive world with lots of lore and ways to connect your character to the story. The way he will collaborate with you in building your character and their arc around the bigger story lines has been one of my favorite aspects of his game. He also provides some great visuals, background audio, and a lot of other details to your experience. So many NPCs that feel memorable and fleshed out. Really enjoy his combat as well, and he will certainly challenge you in a satisfying way.

I am not sure how I lucked into Marcel as my first DM on StartPlaying but I am sure glad that I did. As a relatively new player, he was so helpful in guiding me through the mechanics of everything and also helping me feel included in an already established group. From there, the story-building, world, and character inclusion has been a great experience. I couldn't recommend him more if you are considering joining one of his games.

Kya

I have been playing with Kya for over a year now and honestly can't recommend her enough. Whether you're new or experienced she will provide you with an experience you will enjoy. She is welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable. She does a great job balancing the rules with player ingenuity/rule of cool. She has created an environment for us where we have realy rich roleplay from incredibly silly moments (pretty much running a DnD daycare) to really tense and dramatic moments for the party and the NPCs around us. She has also brought all of our characters backstories into the larger narrative in a really impressive, big picture way. So again, if you want a great DnD experience whether new or old, join one of her tables!
