DnD is a great system to play; it has exciting classes, iconic (and not so iconic) species, and thematic backgrounds that let you create the character you want to play! You can defend a village, explore ancient dungeons, fight dragons, or even slay gods, and always in the company of your trusting friends! The ratio of its Pillars of Game (Combat, Roleplay, and Exploration) is very dependent on your DM, so you need to talk with them before you begin to make sure you will have the game you want and enjoy!
