About me

I am relatively new to sitting at the table, I am a deep diver when it comes to the hobby. I bring a professional background in high-pressure medical environments, which has taught me the value of clear communication, teamwork, and staying calm when the dice rolls get tense. I am a frequent viewer of Dimension 20 and Critical Role, and I have spent hours immersed in Delta Green campaigns (largely through the Pretending to be People podcast). I have about 8 sessions of Lancer under my belt and am currently digging deep into the books for Land of Eem, that i just found. I understand the technical basics of major VTTs like Foundry and Roll20. What I Love I enjoy the full spectrum of storytelling. I have a deep appreciation for horror in all its forms, but I also love lighthearted comedy and whimsical adventures. While I enjoy the "crunch" of a tactical battle, my experience playing Lancer with a tactics-heavy GM helped me realize that narrative and character development are what I enjoy most. I am looking for games that use tactical depth as a springboard for great character moments. Why Play With Me? I enjoy playing characters that help the group shine. I am here to support the party and build a great story together. I respect the effort it takes to run a session. I show up on time, focused, and ready to engage. I have a high-quality audio setup and a solid handle on the digital tools we will be using. Due to my career, my schedule can be unpredictable. There are periods, sometimes up to two weeks at a time, where I will be unavailable to play. Because of this, I am a great fit for: One-shots or short adventures. West Marches style games with rotating rosters. Long-term campaigns (if the group is flexible). My ultimate goal is to find a long campaign where I can truly develop a character. I am more than happy to work with a GM to find a narrative reason for my character to occasionally step away so the story never misses a beat.
