DM Kristijan is a terrific voice actor, manages combat like a pro, and above all has a great sense of humor. Our party had a couple of members with personalities that might have derailed the game with any other DM, but his ability to take it easy and transform PC idiosyncrasies into story elements really shone. Highly recommend this DM.

DM David is a craftsman among dungeon masters. The game he ran for us today was exquisitely designed, structurally balanced, and (above all) executed with the care of someone who knows and loves DnD. I noticed three things in particular. First, DM David knows how to use the meta-game and hooks to set conditions for a quality game. He didn't simply throw his players into the scenario cold: the meta was meaningful, pertinent to the game, and encouraged real problem-solving. Second, he made masterful use of music, story, and character limitations to create narrative tension. I swear my heartrate must have been over 100 BPM when we landed in the lair and battle began- and that's a first for me. Last, DM David was an honest broker throughout. He did not pander to his players and fudge on the game structure, like DM's sometimes do to make nice with a paying audience. My PC happened to survive this particular game, but I'm quite certain she would have died in a heartbeat if I made too many mistakes. I respect DM David's willingness to create real, meaningful risk for players. I want to play with DM David again, and soon. RECOMMEND this DM in the strongest terms.

GM Mike is intimately familiar with narrative tension and how to manage it in-game. During our game yesterday he would break up deadly encounters & dark storytelling with humor & whimsical PC actions. It made what would otherwise have been depressing slog of a syory into an absolute romp. Also, he keeps to the game's structural integrity while making allowances that make sense for newer players. For instance, our party had only two PC's for the game, but GM still had/made/implemented structural tools to make the game work (instead of the TPK which we clearly deserved). I'd play in one of GM Mike's games any day.

DM Evans is playful and engaging as an instructor/storyteller, which makes gameplay fun & appealing. He also has a terrific knowledge base about why things happen during game play, and is responsive to questions along these lines. It makes him an ideal DM for adult players wanting not just learn to play, but to understand the game. Highly recommended.
