Travis is an good dm. Very friendly atmosphere and fun times. Could change the music track a little more often. But I'm one of those players that likes music for each scene and mood, that may not matter to all players. I very much appreciate Travis even contributing music to the game sessions at all. As so many dm's don't even bother with it.
Red is a fun dm. I enjoyed the story narrative he presented and he worked in my characters back story for the campaign. Even referencing some of it for the narrative going forward which honestly I didn't expect and found enjoyable. While ultimately it didn't work out for me with his group. I feel many players can enjoy his dming style. I would suggest using milestone exp for outspoken players such as myself. As some of his mechanics don't rub well with me. Each to their own though.
Ray is great at setting the scene and setting. Embracing the dark world and moral grayness of Duskwall has never been easier. He takes the reigns for narrative control to put you in the scene. He give you all the ques you could ask for to indicate the path forward. While also leaving your choices open and entirely valid for the situation. He knows the rules of Blades very well, in fact knows them better than my other narrators for BitD games and uses them well. I enjoy existing within the rules to find my way out of good, bad or even terrible situations. It adds more flavor and tension to your choices and creates good character drama. He is excellent at setting up story narratives also. Currently I'm really enjoying the story arch we are playing through. It involves character growth, in the BitD way. What are you willing to give up to succeed. What does that mean for your character. How do your choices and actions change your character. What do those changes mean going forward. - Zoom in on the "Mouth Feel". Cut and that's scene.
