Playing in Rae’s Pathfinder 2e games (I am in two as of the time of this review) has been absolutely wonderful. His greatest strengths are his friendliness, understanding, and flexibility, which shine through in every session. From the very beginning, he makes you feel comfortable and welcome, no matter your level of experience with the system. One of the things I appreciate most is how much time he dedicates to helping players create the character of their dreams. Whether you’re brand new to Pathfinder 2e or a seasoned player with a very specific concept in mind, Rae is patient and enthusiastic about guiding you through the process. He makes sure your character feels both mechanically solid and narratively exciting, so you can really immerse yourself in the story. Another standout quality is his commitment to player feedback. At the end of every session, Rae takes the time to ask what you enjoyed and what you might not have liked as much. This isn’t just lip service—he genuinely listens and then adjusts the next game to better suit the group’s preferences. If you want more challenge, he’ll definitely provide it (be careful what you ask for!). If you’d rather lean into roleplay or exploration, he’ll make that happen too. It’s clear here that the goal is to craft a game that everyone finds fun and memorable. Ultimately, I guess I would say that Rae creates a gaming environment that feels collaborative, supportive, and exciting. His ability to balance structure with flexibility makes every session feel tailored to me and the other players at the table. If you’re looking for a Game Master who will not only run a great Pathfinder 2e campaign but also make sure you’re having the best possible experience, I simply can’t recommend Rae highly enough.
