About Rae Swiftblade
Hello adventurers! My name is Rae. I have been playing TTRPGs for over 30 years and have been a GM since day one! I have played in and ran games in a multitude of systems, including D&D 2nd Ed, 3rd Ed, 5th Ed, Pathfinder 1st and 2nd Editions and many others. I love creating worlds for my players to experience and influence and I tend to drive the story around my players and their characters. I try to engage my table through exciting and challenging combat and immersive and thought-provoking roleplaying. If you are interested I would love to have you at my table for one of my games. The most important rule at my table is respect. I want this to be a welcoming space, so please know that I have an open-door policy: if you ever have questions or concerns, I’m always happy to talk. I also like to set aside time at the end of each session to reflect on what happened in the game together, and we’ll take a 10-minute break about halfway through the session to recharge. Of course, if you ever need to step away at any point, that’s completely fine.

How Rae Swiftblade runs games
I love to create worlds for my players to experience and while I do run published adventure paths, I tend to adapt these to my players. I like to provide a good challenge for everyone, whether it is through intense tactical combat or immersive roleplaying. I am not great at voices, but I do make an effort to be in character and change it up from one NPC to the next. Most importantly, I provide a fun and safe table for people to gather at and have a good time!

I deal with rules issues by...
careful research and review with my players.
I prep by
studying and research the entire adventure. I will spend 2-4 hours a week continuing this prep so that I can run each session effectively.
Rules are...
the foundation to any system and determine how the game is played.
Rae Swiftblade's ideal table
Respect is my number one rule! I want everyone to feel comfortable at my table so they can have an enjoyable experience.
