ok ... I've been playing D&D for MANY years, both as a player AND DM. I've had too many adventures to count, played in both terrible AND great games. There are many factors that come into play regarding whether a campaign is good or bad, but probably the MOST important is the DM. After just ONE session with Matty, I can tell already that THIS is going to be a GREAT campaign! His enthusiasm is contagious, NOT a DM just 'going through the motions' ... He cares about his players (first) but ALSO their characters. He has a great sense of flow: allows for RP but also keeps the ball rolling. Sets the mood perfectly with music and narrative, allowing one to fully immerse themselves in their character (which is what RP is ALL about, right?). After 40 yrs. of playing this game (going all the way back to the red box), I can't say that I've been MORE excited after the 1st session for a campaign! Our group includes another long-time veteran, three players with a few years experience and a total newcomer to the genre, and Matty accommodated us ALL like a true PRO! yeah ... no matter your experience, Matty is a natural DM!

I'm an older gamer and have played in MANY campaigns. NEVER have I had as much fun as I have had in Luna's games. She is tough on the party but really cares about the characters and players. Expect a SERIOUS combat challenge, but rest assured that your character will be seen and heard. Her creativity is off the charts: I generally shy away from homebrew content, but with Luna I WELCOME it! Can't recommend this DM enough! Luna is simply awesome! As a person AND a DM! xD

Ozymandias is a DM that knows how to keep the flow. He is brutal but fair, and his gamestyle is a good mix of RP and fighting ... a little heavy on the fighting but the RP is still there. He encourages his players to optimize their characters and is more than willing to give advice to help if you're a new player. This DM is best suited for players that know the rules, but if you're new he'll help you. His sessions though are combat heavy, and as such, you'll really enjoy his games if you're a player that has experience and wants a game that really explores the intricacies of the combat system. I would DEFINITELY recommend this DM for anyone that likes their games to have plenty of encounters!

James was VERY easy-going and relaxed, and more than patient with all the questions that a first time player to the system asked. The game ran smoothly and was FUN! A very open/inclusive/safe environment and PERFECT for beginners!

OK. I've been playing TTRPG's for a LONG time. I've been the DM and the player and I know the struggles of each. Being DM is MUCH more intricate and complicated. I've come into this campaign with a specific character concept in mind, and John the Norker has literally GONE OUT OF HIS WAY to accommodate that concept! While the in-game things like flow and battle efficiency, RP and believability are incredible with this DM ... the thing I would like to highlight is that John the Norker really CARES about the characters that populate his games! So many times, the player can feel that they are creating a character that only THEY really care about, but that is NOT THE CASE with this DM! This DM will reply to any and all questions you might have promptly, offer suggestions (without railroading), and genuinely LISTEN to what your vision IS for your character! In fact, upon joining this game I had more communication with our DM BEFORE SESSION 1 than I've had with most other DM's after several sessions! Beginning players couldn't pick a better DM, and even vets like me will appreciate the professionalism the Norker brings. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this DM to ANYONE that wants to dive deep into their character's motivations, backstory, etc...
