I was a player in the Call of the Netherdeep Campaign - Lucas does a great job bringing the world to life through narrative detail, voice acting, and meaningful choice/consequences. I also really enjoyed the effort he puts into incorporating character backstories into the game, which makes the game feel more personalized to the specific adventuring party. He puts a lot of effort into finding good music, maps, and art for the game as well. Overall, had a great time and would highly recommend it!

I have been playing D&D with Jacob for many sessions at this point, and I have been meaning to write a review! I joined with my pre-existing D&D group, and he was very conscientious about understanding the type of game that we wanted to play, our characters, and the elements of RPGs that we prefer (such as how we prioritize roleplaying, combat and exploration). He really encourages creativity, and does an absurd amount of preparation for our sessions. His combat is also strategic and important to the narrative, and never feels like filler. Our group has also played a space themed one-shot with him, and it's clear that he is very passionate about all kinds of RPGs. Some highlights of his games include very in-depth world building and lore, great improv and voice acting skills, and creative freedom to explore the game world (as opposed to feeling stuck in a linear narrative). One caveat that I would add for potential players is that Jacob really excels at GM'ing games that are slower paced. This is because of the premium he places on world building and character development. Thus, if you are interested in more of a fast-paced, combat focused experience, you should be sure to specify this to him so that he can accommodate your play style or suggest a different type of campaign.

Jack stands out as someone who is really passionate about their homebrew world, facilitates engaging NPC and player interactions, and has a nice balance on RP, exploration and combat so far. He is also really good at helping to develop characters and allows for a lot of collaboration and participation in world building.

We did a 16th level one shot called Night of Sorrows that was a great way to play a character I normally wouldn't choose for a longer campaign. Dev allowed a lot of player creativity, and had some very interesting combat encounters that were very challenging and engaging. They also included some really nice battle maps and visuals that I appreciated a lot. I would definitely recommend Dev to anyone interested in playing high level characters and experiencing engaging tactical combat. Thanks!
