Josh is the best voice actor I've ever encountered in 35+ years of gaming. Rather than his characters sounding like a desperate drama-club audition, you just forget it's actually one guy voicing everything and not a host of characters. This is movie-level voice acting from a GM. As far as how he runs sessions, they feel like a comfortable chat around a table, nothing feels hurried or rushed, and there's always time for new people to learn the rules, but all the while, the story moves forward. Josh is one of my favourite GMs from many years of gaming, and it's always a pleasure to play in one of his games.
The whole experience from character creation to gameplay has been very smooth and comfortable. The DM is patient with new players and explains everything in a clear and concise manner. Corrections about rulings are done in a very non-confrontational manner that doesn't make anyone feel bad. Mark is very polite to his players and treats everyone with respect. The gameplay is easygoing and not forced. Roleplay is encouraged but it doesn't feel forced and Mark's voice acting is just right - not an OTT out-of-work actor flexing his muscles and making everyone cringe, but also not just that guy that only do a Scottish accent. Combat is free-flowing and organised with enough narration to be exciting without bogging down the action. Mark is very organised, he starts on time and the sessions run nicely with a 15-minute break in the middle. I would highly recommend his games to any new or experienced player wanting to have a fun and relaxing D&D experience.
