This module is quite good. On it's own it has many good things any many tiny little details that are great for exploration. One of the things I feel is most often overlooked in DnD and maybe in TTRPGS in general. The player interactions with the module and how the rest of the aspect of the games go (Roleplay and Combat) depends a bit on the GM and their way of running games. But in many ways, the book has everything one might need to create an enjoyable experience and has enough material for multiple types of encounters and even for some crazy twists and turns in the story. It has everything that could be needed as foundation for a memorable campaign. If it does become one? That depends on the GM and the players. But all in all, I say it is balanced enough and with enough content that not only can be added upon, but also learn from for you own campaigns. At least on the core needs of an adventure, and the importance of some of the small details.
Dudley has for a long time been one of the best GMs I've had the pleasure to play with. He's creative, allows people to be creative with their characters and how they interact with the world and is also a master of improvisation like no other I've ever met. At least not improvisation of that quality and that quickly. He has also helped me grow as a player in many ways, from helping me become better and more controlled when uncontrollable things happen in game, becoming better when talking to others, and also just allowing for a fun space in general where I could have fun and improve. He also knows Eberron like the back of his hand, so if you ever want to play in a gaslight setting, you should check him out. He has certainly helped bring characters that I always wanted to play in Eberron to life.
I haven't played with Kevin really long, not in the grand scheme of things. But I will say that he's not only a good DM, but one that you more than likely will have a lot of fun with if you just go for it and let yourself be carried by your imagination and aspirations, for he'll be ready to help you in that journey and give you the tools to make it possible. He's permissive, creative, dedicated, and also constantly improving, even though he's already pretty great. His sessions have great pacing, great maps, awesome music, incredible voices and sound effects, and more than that, a spark of creativity that's always ready for the players to take advantage of. I cannot really describe it, but that spark is something I think set Kevin apart and gives him his own style. On top of all that, he's a very understanding person, so any complications are something that can be worked through, and crazy schemes are something that is possible and he'll do his best to help you... or keep you grounded depending on how crazy it is. As I said, I haven't played long with him, but I'm excited for my future sessions with him, so I can honestly say that if you have the time and money, you should give him a go.
