About Rios
Hey there! I am a very new GM, I have minimal acting and voice acting skills, but what I am known for is doing my best and I am pretty sure I am good at improvising when something goes awry. Also, I am a writer soon to be publishing his own books. All honesty here folks, I am a very new GM, although I do know most of the rules and decent amount of lore for the game and the DND 5E system. My philosophy is "If people are having fun, then clearly something is going right."

How Rios runs games
I am a writer, so telling stories is my specialty, and so I prefer to utilize the Theatre of the Mind. I try to make every NPC and roll matter in some way, major or minor. Nat 20s and yes, Nat 1s both have a place in every players journey. I will provide several opportunities and hooks for your questing enjoyment. As well as displaying difficult decisions that can have a minor to drastic effect on how the story unfolds. I am loose with rules, as some of them make combat stiff and compact as well as sometimes sucking the fun out of certain chaotic scenarios. Only for the sake of balance to do I turn to them. The rules are there as a guideline, after all. At the end of the day, this is your story, your game, and my top priority is making is as fun and memorable as I can make it for you. With that said, I am still rather new to this gig. And I do not feel comfortable charging people for their time to enjoy a hobby, and so my games are free to hop in and out of.
