Alec brings a passion to DMing unlike most I've known. He takes great pride in giving players a world to discover and is eager to share the lore he's collected since the earliest days of D&D. What I admire most is his willingness to plumb the depths of older modules, sifting through dense past editions lore to bring some legacy into our newest edition. Give Alec's table a try if you have the chance. It will be unforgettable!

I just had a blast playing with DM Zo! He's a bold DM willing to put in the effort of building a unique world for his players to explore. His quest are set up with multiple paths to success and a slew diverse npcs for players to interact with. He uses clear safety tools and gives warnings so players know what they are in for. I think what I appreciate most is his quick wit and capability at trading barbs with player characters through npcs. I would encourage others to take a seat at his table when opportunity presents itself and see what DM Zo has to offer.

I was pretty excited to sit at J.P.s table having already played a few sessions with him as fellow players. He is incredibly committed to portraying each character in a unique way. Juggling the various npcs and their personalities with practiced commitment. This murder mystery was spectacular fun and a very different experience from the hack and slash fair I'm accustomed to. He really made the game about intrigue and suspense. I've never visited Eberron but, he really seemed to know his lore and delivered concise info on the world that a new player could digest and act upon within in the game. I couldn't guess the killer by the end and that was in part due to another player skillfully acting out their role while J.P. handled and misdirected with various dubious personalities. I left this game with a new out look on how to play DnD and a fascination with the world of Eberron. Take a ride with J.P. on the express and discover a world of intrigue.

We've had our first encounter with Strahd recently and it was pretty phenomenal. Phreeze in my opinion made the count perfectly terrifying and everything about the encounter lived up to my expectation. I over all appreciate the various voices and mannerisms adopted which help differentiate the bleak people of Barovia. As a DM Phreeze is accommodating with character ideas and willing to find a middle ground for players trying venturing in from another system. One of the other players is having a great time playing a converted class from Pathfinder for example and I got to try out more robust features the ranger. Games are intimate given we've only had a max of 4 players, keeping the power more even between players and the DM. It fits really well for the setting no less.

Our DM Dawid is really enthusiastic and willing to jump in and act out various npc roles, making them feel distinct encounters. He made a shopping encounter more than just haggling which I appreciate. There is an emphasis here on immersive role play which I believe comes in part from his background in theater, I really appreciate that and how it makes encounters more than what might generally be expected.
