About me
Hello adventurers, my name is Alec and I would love to GM your next quest. I have been GMing for about 5 years, and have played/read countless D&D adventures. I have a plethora of knowledge about the D&D universe and am also a professional actor/improviser so unexpected decisions and choices are most welcome. I enjoy adding flavorful and whimsical gameplay elements into my adventures, and have found a healthy balance between immersion and lightheartedness. To Glory!
GM Style
I prefer to find a proper balance between mechanics and theatre, as well as a proper balance between humor and thrills. I am very adept at introducing new players to mechanics without overwhelming them. I also constantly GM for very experienced players. I love D&D and simply wish to share my enjoyment of the game.

The game Alec runs is about as close to kitchen table D&D as I've seen in a long time. He's a great advocate of fun, takes the newbies well in hand, and keeps a great pace.

He does a great job helping new players get used to the mechanics of the online board we use. You can tell he has taken time in building the world we are playing in, and does a great job rolling with what the players try to do.

Alec brings a passion to DMing unlike most I've known. He takes great pride in giving players a world to discover and is eager to share the lore he's collected since the earliest days of D&D. What I admire most is his willingness to plumb the depths of older modules, sifting through dense past editions lore to bring some legacy into our newest edition. My group has been using Alec for a few months now. He is extremely patient with new players and explaining the rules, especially with the new rulebook out. His character voices are hilarious. Hands down the best DM we have used.

I play 2 campaigns with Alec as the DM and it's a blast. He does great voices, and is flexible with using third party classes, and working with players on making their characters cool and fun to play. Highly recommend.
