Joe, not just an amazing DM, but also an amazing person. He make sure everyone is having fun and has genuine respect for each of his players. He makes sure that everyone's characters backstory is woven into the campaign/story in fun and cary interesting ways. Not only is his campaign story's, characters, and settings incredible. But so are all the mind blowing minis and terrain for the fights. And he's doing all of this giving 100% on 5 different campaigns.

I would highly recommend! Great DM! This was a single session of a drop-in and drop-out campaign. But I never felt left out. As a new DnD player, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable. It was a full virtual table, and all the other players had been there for a while, at least several sessions. It was also as the group was beginning an epic battle. This made the sense of welcome and comfort even more profound. The DM and each player as their real-life selves and/or as their characters did something to make me feel truly a part of the game. The DM and the players were also super patient, as it took me considerable time to get up to speed.

I am new to playing ttrpgs, and I feel really blessed that I found Joe as my first GM. He is kind, supportive, knowledgeable, super funny, super creative and has built an equally kind and creative community to play his games with him. If you get a chance to play in one of his games, jump on it. You will have such a magical time.

Joe runs games like a director of film. The camera pans out to your RP moments and scenes switch thematically to accommodate and emphasize each players' moments. He is detail-oriented, emotive, and creates compelling NPCs that keep players engaged in the world around them. Would highly recommend. Also just a generally swell and friendly guy.

Joe was an absolute delight, and he ran a wonderful game! I've played with him a couple of times when my weekly game falls through, and I'm so grateful to have such a high-quality drop-in game available. He balances story and character RP with combat and strategy so that even in a one-off session a big story/RP guy like me really feels like they had a great night. He's also very clear and professional about his table rules, his safety measures, and what to expect. It's a strong recommend!
