Bear ran a fun PbP campaign and worked hard to make every character feel powerful in their own right.

Cai is great at adapting on the fly. When a player had to unexpectedly cancel, Cai had the resources and experience to pull together a one-off with maps, tokens, and NPCs-- all in an effort to save the next campaign moment for a session when everyone could be there together. I'm a player learning a new system, and Cai has been great about using the rules as tools to enhance storytelling and RP, instead of using them as road blocks to keep players on a preconceived plot the way less experience GMs sometimes can.

We had a great time in a level 20 one-shot! even though those kinds of high level characters carry a lot of baggage, combat went smoothly and the tone was still light and fun.

So many threads to pull on, such an interesting and tangled web to explore right from the start! Great detail on the setting and NPCs!
