I've played with Will in both Fiasco games and playing Exlated 3rd edition. I was a complete newbie to Exalted, and he patiently took me through the process of character creation, explaining the world lore and the interlocking parts of rolling a character so that I was comfortable jumping in from a session zero to a full campaign. He's flexible, good humored to deal with table banter, and extremely knowledgeable about the games he runs. You really can't go wrong with Will at a table with you.
Spike is the DM to look for if you like good, dramatic gut-punch style narratives. He'll push his players to play through tough, challenging themes and situations. But he readily uses safety tools to make sure it's not sprung on you without warning, and openly offers fade-to-blacks if it gets overwhelming. Spike also loves to experiment with what Roll20 can really accomplish, to frankly jaw-dropping result. You'd be at a great table with him running a game, no doubt.
He was incredibly communicative, made himself available to answer questions leading up to the session, and was beyond patient with a newbie like me, diving into a *very* complicated class for my first time ever playing the system. It was one of the most welcoming experiences I've ever had in roleplaying, hands down.
