About Zander
I've been playing TTRPGs for a decade now and moderating games for almost a decade. I switched away from the 5th Edition of Dungeons & Dragons a bit before "The Debacle" and PF2e has been my main game ever since. Over time I have explored a lot of other game systems and run games in different systems face-to-face for my personal groups and at events for strangers as part of a local non-profit project, educating people about the value and benefits of TTRPGs for young and old.

How Zander runs games
In my personal opinion Style of Play matters a lot. One can totally pull off a resouce-management focused dungeon-crawl even in a narrative system like Blades in the Dark, as well as do social intrigue and espionage in a chewy system like Pathfinder 2e. "Style over Substance" is a good tagline for the way I like to approach games. I believe in the importance of leaning into what Players want. If Players want more combat, that's what they get. If they want more RP, it's going to be more social encounters and PC-to-PC dialog time. Either way, I strongly believe Player Agency is not only a important factor in creating a narrative - it is also one of the most important factor of Style of Play and how the game unfolds. It's a game after all, and I hope you are here to play!
