About Zach
I have been playing Dungeon and Dragons for about 7-8 years. and I have been the forever DM for a little more than half of that. Occasionally one of the other players will try their hand at it and I encourage it but I am always happy to take back up the reigns. Because I love DMing, I love the story telling, the collaboration, the fear in a players eyes when they roll a nat one on a death saving throw and the joy when they roll a nat 20 on the final blow of the bbeg. I spend hours writing my campaigns and my players get lost in the homebrew world I have been working on for years.

Usually either playing Magic The Gathering or some video game, I am not good at either but I am a nerd through and through.
How Zach runs games
My Style is very story heavy, I encourage my players to give me a detailed backstory and then I write the story around them. Plot hooks based on their family. Bad guys tied to their tragic childhood. I don't railroad, but they will follow the story because it is their story. I have no room for murderhobos, unless I write a short one shot where murderhobos are encouraged. To be fair, you can try to be a Murderhobo, but I will try to make you feel bad.

Rules are flexible, if you want to land on a Rocs head, stabbing and killing it with your flaming sword and ride it down to the ground, (a real thing that happened in one of my games) then I will make you do SOME rolls, but it is going to happen, because that is awesome.
When it comes to voices
I do like to do voices, some of them end up a little samey, but like to do them, and have a couple fun ones in the arsenal.
Zach's ideal table
I like to run a relaxed game, but definitely have a focus, and that is the game, if we are there, we are playing DND. I don't like distracted players that are only paying attention on "their turn." I spread the spotlight around and ask what everyone is doing periodically.
