About YeaBoyd
I've been running RPG's since I was in middle school. Since then I've found myself running clubs and organizing gaming groups. Telling stories with my friends is one of my greatest passions. I love teaching and introducing new players to Role Playing.

I got started GMing...
After all of my friends in Middle School begged them to teach them how to play after my uncle who ran an LGS taught me.
My favorite books are
Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere and Pierce Browns Red Rising. Right now I've been crushing through Litrpgs like he who fights with monsters and dungeon crawler carl.
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
My players have said: Literal, fair, and creative Big, Beautiful, Bastard.
How YeaBoyd runs games
My games aim to be character driven stories looking to explore new experiences and unfold as choices are made. Most worlds that I homebrew are built more to be sandboxes with a number of things going on for players to influence. I strive for worlds where the setting itself feels like a character at the table that breathes and lives around the choices players make. Choosing to help someone might mean missing out on helping another and so the world grows.

If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
Taika Waititi because I tend to play straight man characters to my players wacky choices to really elevate the comedy.
YeaBoyd's ideal table
My tables thrive when the players embrace danger and the consequences of their own actions. The vibe is an exploration of a story with ups and downs, where every setback is an opportunity for a new challenge.

If you're into ___, you're going to love my table
Out of context quotes. One of the most popular parts of my discord is an out of context quotes thread where the wildest things get retold.
I love it when a player
Makes bits. I am a sucker for recurring bits and catch phrases.
I think min/maxing...
Can be a boring way to play unless you lean in to make your Min just important as your Max
