I've been dming for my friend group for 4 or 5 years now and while I recently got a chance to play dnd as a player I've found that I miss dming more. I enjoy building storys and watching players interact with them. Feel free to derail the campain a bit and have fun, the best part is the chaos, so long as its good chaos

Honestly, I just really wanted to play dnd, I took up the dming role for my friend group so we could play. I've found over time that I prefer running games to playing in them, I like creating worlds and stories for players, its fun.

How Wyvern runs games
I prefer roleplay over combat, enjoy homebrewing settings and will do my best to make sure that players are having a good time. I expect my players to come up with weird solutions to things and look forward to it. I prefer a lighterhearted atmosphere at my games as opposed to very serious ones. At the end of the day we are here to have a good time.
Wyvern's ideal table
I prefer roleplay and puzzles to combat, though I do try and run combat at least every other session or every session when I can, its never the point of my sessions and it never will be. I want my players to have fun, dnd is a cooperative roleplaying game and we should all be working together to tell a story, ideally I want everyone to have the end for their character that they want to have and will work with people to try and make that happen. I also want my players to work together to tell the stories that they want to tell.

Relaxed and fun, I have and probably will continue to make weird but entertaining things happen when I end up improvising. My party once fought a sentient pear tree that was trying to take over the world as a camping encounter. So work toward the goal sure, but don't forget to enjoy the journey.
I love it when a player
I love it when players play their characters creatively, its super fun when people find creative solutions to problems that are in character at the same time. And its also a lot of fun when characters have interactions with eachother.
I think min/maxing...
Min/maxers are my nemesis lol, it makes it very difficult to balance combat encounters around the rest of the party when one member is min/maxed. You can do it if you want, just be aware your not going to ever find combat a challenge if you do.
