About me

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this! I am Enzo, a student of acting, directing, theatre as a whole, game design, and human experience. I have over a decade of experience GMing a multitude of TTRPG systems including but not limited to D&D 5e, BREAK!!, Ten Candles, Pokemon Tableop Adventures, A Familiar Problem, Lasers and Feelings, and many indie projects still in development; including my own! I graduated from Montclair State University with a degree in Directing after a childhood filled top full with school and local theatre in NJ. During the summers (my personal off season from theatre as a youth, and my on season as an adult funnily enough) I would work at my local summer recreation camp which served as the foundation to my history of working with school aged children from 1st to 12th grade. When I moved out to NYC after graduating, I was met with the profoundly unfortunate experience of COVID lockdown in a claustrophobic shoebox apartment in Brooklyn. However, in those darkest of times, I found my light: Brooklyn Game Lab. A wonderful afterschool/summer program who kept their doors open through this horrible time through Online D&D programming, which I was fortunate enough to join on as a GM. We helped children build fantastical worlds and characters to cherish; and parents the breathing room they needed to make it through a remote work day… I led up to 5 tables a week with anywhere from 2 to 8 children, ages 5 - 18 (separately, divided by age groups), and still had room to get a few home games in here and there. There is a passion in me to bring out the stories you want to tell, and see them brought to life. I have been a storyteller all my life, and would love nothing more than to help you live your story gloriously. Patience, safety, engagement, and a hard stance against bigotry are the pillars that hold my table up. I am a certified game designer, professionally working as a GM in afterschool programs for children 6 and up. My background is in improvisational theatre, and directing specifically, so I am always ready to take what you say at the table and make something of it. I have a podcast for you to catch a glimpse of my GMing style that you can find at Darkest Days Pod on Spotify or Apple Podcasts!

GM Style

Roleplay with an emphasis on play, tactical and meaningful combat scenarios, and collaborative worldbuilding and setting creation. My background is in improvisational theatre, and directing specifically, so I am always ready to take what you say at the table and make something of it. I love using visuals and obscure similes and metaphors to help connect players to the moment concretely. My husband (bless him) falls asleep to The Adventure Zone: Balance, so I have been listening to Griffin McElroy every night for the past 5 years, which may have some profound impact on both my psyche and perhaps my GM style.
